Connect Your AI Agent

If your AI tool admin has already set up the connection, you can skip ahead to Complete the Task.

To connect it yourself:

  1. Get your portal's Authoring MCP Server endpoint URL from your portal settings, AI integrations → MCP server. It looks like https://<region>.mcp.clickhelp.com/portals/<portalname>.clickhelp.co.
  2. Add the endpoint to your AI tool. The exact steps differ per tool — see Connect to MCP Server for Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT (Codex), and Microsoft Copilot.
  3. Log out of your portal in the current browser and log back in with the dedicated ClickHelp account — or open a separate browser profile/incognito session and log in there.
  4. Make a first request to access your ClickHelp portal.

Once connected, the agent stores a token and won't ask you to sign in again for 30 days. So feel free to return to your usual ClickHelp account.
