Delete Review Comments

If a comment was created by mistake, it's possible to delete it. In this topic, you'll learn how to do that.

Deleting a Single Comment Forever

To delete a comment:

  1. Open the topic and click Review (Edit if you're not a Reviewer).
  2. Click on the Show review comments for the topic button in the top menu.
    Alternatively, find the comment thread in the content.
  3. Hover the specific comment and click the Delete button from the hover menu.

As a result, the comment will be completely removed from the portal.

Any single comment, unless it's the only comment in the thread, is deleted forever without being archived. To archive the whole thread, read further.

Deleting a Comment Thread

To delete a comment thread:

  1. Open the topic and click Review (Edit if you're not a Reviewer).
  2. Click on the Show review comments for the topic button in the top menu.
  3. Find the thread you wish to delete and click the More (···) button.
  4. Click Delete thread.

This will archive the whole thread with all the replies in the resolved/deleted comments section.

It's possible to delete a thread forever as well. Just find the respective option in the More (···) menu when looking at the list of threads.
